Forskarna Palle Dahlstedt och Per Anders Nilsson utforskar och utvecklar nya former för musikalisk improvisation. I den här konserten presenteras en särskild typ av teknologiskt medierad ensembleimprovisation, där en grupp musiker, på vilka instrument som helst, interagerar på helt nya sätt. Kommunikationen mellan musikerna transformeras av relativt enkla algoritmer, så att villkoren för den musikaliska interaktionen helt ändras. Projektet stöds av Vetenskapsrådet.

Researchers Palle Dahlstedt and Per Anders Nilsson investigate and develop new forms of musical improvisation. This concert presents a special type of technologically mediated ensemble improvisation, where a group of musicians, playing any instrument at all, integrates in a brand new way. Communication between the musicians is transformed by relatively simple algorithms, thus changing the conditions of the musical interaction completely. This project is supported by the Swedish Research Council.
