Young Nordic Music Days gathers the leading young composers of the Nordic countries in Aarhus the 15th to 20th of August 2016.
With 42 works from Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark in 8 free-admission concerts, the Young Nordic Music Days (Ung Nordisk Musikfestival) offers a unique chance to get a glimpse of what the art music and sound art of the future sounds like. With the theme ”Togetherness” we wish to focus on the special Nordic community and kinship, where artistic diversity, artistic tolerance and a healthy mix of genres are the natural ingredients in our art music scene.
